The Founder

ATN Club was created by Emmy (Dimitra-Thomais) Tsekoura — a lifelong table tennis athlete who loves the sport and wants to see it grow and improve people’s lives.

Alongside her, people with shared values shape ATN Club and give it its unique character. From the junior categories, she has earned 1st-place national titles in singles, doubles, mixed and team events.

She is an active member of the Greek Women’s National Team with many appearances in European and World tournaments, and she continues to compete in Greece’s A1 National Division, as well as internationally (e.g., events in Turkey).

A graduate of the Biology Department of Athens and a speaker of two foreign languages, she believes that with focus, discipline, tolerance and—above all—love for what you do, you can combine studies, high-level sport, work and a high-quality life. For her, ping pong is a holistic way to improve everyday well-being.
